Wilson Creek Winery is absolutely gorgeous and offers up so many options while there. This place offers up a full service restaurant, multiple terraces for wine tasting, a lawn, a walking path that includes a bridge and a creek, as well as the ability to walk through the vines. In 1996 Gerry and Rosie Wilson decided to go all in and purchase a property in Temecula to start Wilson Creek Winery.

After driving along Rancho California Road you will be presented with so many beautiful options but not many will compare to that of Wilson Creek. After you park you will walk through the trees and over the creek that flows in the front of the property. Once onto the property the tasting room sits in the building to the right and the restaurant is to the left. Once the tasting starts at the bar you are welcome to go anywhere on property and find a fun comfortable place to sit.

We stayed on the lawn for the majority of our tasting which was a wonderful experience. It allows you the ability to enjoy the occasional live music and the gorgeous weather in Southern California. Wilson Creek offers up six wines at your choosing for your tasting. We choose to have the Cabernet/Zinfandel, Cinsault, Double Dog, Family Reserve Syrah, Riesling and Chardonnay. Our favorite of the group was the Double Dog which had notes of blackberry, black raspberry jam, chocolate, cigar box, and vanilla.
