Perched upon a hill at the end of a winding road in the Stags Leap District is the Silverado Vineyard. This vineyard was started by Ron and Diane Miller, along with her mother Lillian Disney in 1981.

Although we didn’t spend a lot of time here we did take full advantage of the time we did spend. We participated in the bar tasting instead of the seated tasting to help with time while in Napa. This tasting was exceptionally well priced for the information and tastings that were provided. We were giving tastings of a Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The best wine during our time there was definitely the Merlot with notes of blackberry, rosemary, tobacco, and baking spices.
