I was so excited to see this wine on the list for the James Suckling Tasting in Miami, it was one of favorite wines I’ve had the privilege of tasting and always wanted to try again! It did not disappoint! It still showed its elegance and restrained power with notes of blackberry, clove, mocha, chocolate shavings, rose peddle, and coffee beans. This Pavie is firing on all cylinders and is showing a structure and freshness rarely seen in 14 year old wines. Fine grained tannins, high acidity and a long finish. 100/100
