So thankful we got to meet John Williams on our visit to Frogs Leap, and while there he offered us a taste of this gorgeous 99 Zinfandel. Medium garnet in color with high intensity and showing a youthfulness rarely seen from a wine of this age. Blackberry, graphite, pencil shavings, tobacco, and strawberry preserve. A gorgeous wine still showing medium plus to high tannins, medium plus acidity, full body and moderate plus finish length. 94/100
