1994 Château Clerc Milon Pauillac (Grand Cru Classé)

92 pts

Description

Acquired by the Clerc Family in the 18th Century Chateau Clerc Milon was classified as a 5th Growth. This 1994 did see a significant amount of rain just before harvest which didn’t show through as much on this wine.

It was still clear deep ruby in color with medium plus intensity and notes of blackberry, soil, black currant, black cherry, bramble, leather, and dried black currant.

The wine was lush and opulent with smooth tannins, high acid, high alcohol, medium plus body, and a medium plus finish. 92/100
