Description
This was probable the most surprising wine of the night! This 47 year old St. Émilion Grand Cru is past its peak but some how still has fruit on the pallet.
Clear pale garnet leading to a browned rim with medium intensity and notes of bandaid, soil, leather, dried cherry, tea leaves, cocoa, mocha, coffee been, dried raspberry, and clove.
This wine is dry with medium plus tannins, medium plus acid, full body, medium alcohol and a medium finish.
